Teresa Young:  Chair

Teresa Young resides north of Ailsa Craig.   She works in London and has been a law clerk for over 20 years having experience in many aspects of civil litigation, labour and employment law and regulatory and administrative tribunals.   Teresa is a member of the Institute of Law Clerks of Ontario and Pillar Non-Profit Network.  Teresa resides with her husband, Jeff, and has three children and four grandchildren.

Kathy Cocquyt:  Vice Chair

Kathy Cocquyt resides in Lucan. She is employed at TD Canada Trust as a Financial Advisor. Kathy

has worked for TD Canada Trust for 27 years and currently works at the Lucan Branch.

Kathy resides with her partner Jim Kirk and has four children.

Dr. Gani Braimoh: Secretary

Gani Braimoh is the Clinic Lead, Mood Disorder Clinic, Child Parent Resource Institute (CPRI) and a staff Psychologist with the Thames Valley Family Health Team at Victoria Family Medical Centre. Previously worked in private practice and as school Psychologist with TVDSB.  Lecturer position in the Dept of Psychiatry, Division of Child & Adolescents, Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry, UWO. In addition, a special graduate faculty position in the Dept of Psychology, University of Guelph, Ontario   Gani resides with his wife and three daughters; he has a one year old grandson.

 

Brian Snell:  Treasurer

Brian Snell has 28 years of experience with IBM in both technical and marketing areas. Brian's main experience is in IT Industry Consulting. Brian has volunteer experience leading a group with Habitat building project  along with a broad knowledge of electrical, plumbing and structure. Brian resides in London.

Rosie Delfre: Director

Moving from Northern Ontario in 2007, Rosie now resides just north of London with her husband Paul. She is employed as a Child Protection Worker with the Huron Perth Children's Aid Society in Stratford. Rosie has worked in child welfare for over 17 years in Ontario and Alberta. Rosie's primary role as a CPW is to ensure the safety and well being of children up to the age of 17, and to provide ongoing support to parents and families. Rosie also also sits on the Stop Violence Against Women (VAW) Committee of Perth County, and is also a certified member of her workplace Joint Health & Safety Committee. Rosie also volunteers in a local Lion's Club. 

Dave Hohner:  Director

Dave Hohner resides in Zurich, Ontario with his two children. Dave completed the Developmental Service Worker Program at Sheridan College. Dave has worked and volunteered at Community Living- South Huron as a support worker and currently works as a Correctional Officer in Milton.

William W Nicholas Fawcett:  Director

Having grown up in Halliburton County, William moved to Ailsa Craig from London in 2013 to escape the "Big City". He holds three degrees from the University of Western Ontario: a Bachelors degree in Philosophy and Classical Studies; a Masters degree in Philosophy; and a Doctoral degree in philosophy.  Much to his surprise, he finds himself completing a fourth degree in Law, and he hopes to be called to the Bar in 2019.

William has taught Philosophy in London at the University of Western Ontario and Fanshawe College; volunteered in Ailsa Craig with the Ailsa Craig Community Quilt Festival, Friends of Ye Olde Towne Hall, and Craigwiel Gardens; and refereed on seemingly innumerable soccer fields all over Southwestern Ontario.  His spare time, such as it is, is spent restoring his nineteenth century yellow-brick Italianate home.

Mingyang Xu:  Director

Ming resides in London, ON with her cat Paloma, adopted from the St. Thomas-Elgin Animal Aide animal shelter. She works as a polysomnographic technologist at a sleep lab outside of London, ON. Her educational background is an Honors Psychology Degree from Western University. Her hobbies include knitting and volunteering at the London Food Bank sorting food donations.

Cecile Klerks:  Director

Cecile Klerks has a Bachelor's in Health Promotion and Healthcare Information. She has been working in Human Resources, Health Promotion and Fund Development/Event Management. At the moment Cecile works with the Brandon Prust Foundation as an Event/Volunteer Coordinator in London. She is passionate about community involvement and worked as a volunteer for several organizations. Ilderton is Cecile's hometown, where she resides with her husband and two children. As a resident of Ilderton she is proud to see that people accessing services can be part of a town through community living supported by Crest Support Services.
